Landscaping Certification Program
The Florida Landscaping Expert Certification Program was developed to meet the need for a standard curriculum of information about the issues of landscaping in the subtropics.
The program is for those who serve on a landscaping committee or are participating in a Garden Club of members who are responsible for the common areas of their Homeowners Associations.
A Masque Soiree – Community Event!
Enjoy the Wonder Gardens at night, March 13, 2021 from 6:00 PM-9:00 PM, with special animal encounters, and artist photo opportunities!
Thanks to Fifth Third Bank, as our Flamingo PREMIER SPONSOR, we are putting on this unique event featuring local and internationally renowned artists. Walk in the fresh air, socially distance, and experience plein air painters, performance artists with live musicians dispersed throughout the gardens.

February 17th – Succulent dish – Learn how to make a mini succulent garden in a small dish. Understand the needs for the succulent and how to maintain and help them flourish in this mini-environment.
March 17th – Stag horn start-up – Learn how to mount your staghorn for optimal growth.
April 21st – Orchid moving day – Learn how to re-pot an orchid as well as ongoing orchid care in its new home.
Experience beak-to-nose fun with our boisterous rainbow lorikeets! Interact with them as they fly about and land on you (if they choose to) as you hand-feed their diet of nectar to them!
Learn all about these fascinating Australian birds with the guidance of a Team Wonder staff member in this private encounter for you and your group. (Requires park admission.)
Gentle Yoga with Sue Lovett
Every Wednesday starting November 4th from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM
This gentle class invites the student to open the heart and the hips through poses, pauses and mindful movement. Enjoy a healing practice that is nurturing, kind and compassionate for the body. Surrounded by nature and an occasional Flamingo or Peacock, bring water, mat or blanket and a smile.
November 17th from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM
An early childhood program geared toward 3-5 years old. The program focuses on inspiring and creating an appreciation for nature all around them. This program is built to have the child and adult learn together. The program is about 45 minutes and will include a themed story, activity, craft, and snack.
